The estate is surrounded by vineyards planted with three varieties of vines: Folle Blanche, Colombard and Saint-Emilion. Castarede Vintage Armagnac might be labeled as Armagnac or Bas Armagnac. Brandy is the name used for a wide range of potable spirits.
